About Laura

4:03 PM Laura Tedesco

Welcome! I'm Laura Tedesco! I live in Westminster, Maryland, with my hunk of a husband and my sweet daughter, Asa. We're currently in the process of relocating to Dallas. I've been a magazine writer and editor since 2009, and I primarily write about health, relationships, and fitness. It's truly a dream job, except for one thing: It rarely allows me to explore my personal passionsbaking, decorating, crafting, and thrifting. My interest began by watching my mom cook or quilt as a little girl, and by decorating (and redecorating) my neighbor's treehouse. (We were talking about toile in the 7th grade.) Now, I can't pass up a Goodwill. Or a good Funfetti recipe.

I would love to hear from you. To reach me, comment on my posts, or contact me on Twitter or via email at lrobers5@gmail.com. Happy decorating!

    1. I believe there a few locations throughout the country, but the one I go to is at the Grapevine Mills Mall just outside of Dallas. It has been extended through the end of July. It's mostly furniture, though I have seen outdoor cushions, light fixtures, and rugs as well. I haven't seen any drapes or small home accessories, though.

  3. HI
Are you the Laura Tedesco who wrote the Thunder Road/ Knoxville Legend article a few years ago? If so, I enjoyed reading it and would like some more info. Specifically, I'd like to know the actual route taken from Harlen KY to and through Knoxville. I know the towns mentioned in the Thunder Road song, but would like enough info to drive the whole route. I googled it and found other Thunder roads but not the moonshine trail. Thanks for any help you can provide. Jim Morgan
